Building a strong Connect strategy
In early 2016, Scripps Health began its search for an experienced partner to guide the creation of its outpatient Community Connect program, which they wanted to offer to independent physician partners shortly after their April 2018 Epic go-live. Nordic was selected as Scripps’ trusted partner and provided the program foundation Scripps sought in just five weeks, minimizing disruption from the main install and meeting the deadline for board approval.
Implementing and supporting partners
In late 2017, Scripps launched the Community Connect program and chose Nordic to deploy Connect to its ACO partners. Nordic’s team completed the first three waves of go-lives, resulting in strong provider satisfaction and post-live metrics. Following the initial go-lives, Scripps and Nordic partnered to implement a mentorship program, allowing Scripps to begin gradually taking ownership of the program. The combined Scripps and Nordic team went on to implement an additional five waves of go-lives through 2020. Scripps’ exceptional customer service and results have secured a healthy pipeline of practices that are excited to join the program.
