Senior Consultant - Digital Health
The Digital Health - Senior Consultant supports design, build, testing, and troubleshooting of Digital Health solutions for Nordic clients. This position works under the direction of senior Digital Health staff to address client needs while actively seeking opportunities to increase the value of the data to the business and focuses on projects that improve business processes.
Key Responsibilities
The Senior Consultant - Digital Health will be responsible for, but not be limited to:
- Performing expert-level troubleshooting and problem solving of digital health solutions
- Fulfilling reporting, data, technology, and analytics requests from clients by performing issue analysis, translating needs into detailed requirement specifications, and performing system build and testing
- Working with leadership to develop detailed requirement specifications including estimated work effort
- Developing integrated data solutions to support clinical and financial needs
- Designing and developing solutions spanning the digital health framework (predictive models, cloud applications, RPA solutions, analytical solutions, etc.)
- Continuously improving process and internal support documentation
- Assisting in the improvement of workflows and processes
- Mentoring junior staff and being a knowledge lead for team members
- Participating in continuous learning opportunities to grow solution expertise
- Coordinating and forecasting work while planning accordingly
- Working on projects that may be assigned on an ad hoc basis and may assist other corporate initiatives as necessary, directed, assigned, or requested
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
- Established experience in various BI technologies (PowerBI, Qlik, Tableau, etc.)
- Familiarity with healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR CDA, etc.)
- Experience leveraging Cloud technologies for analytics (Azure, GCP, AWS)
- Demonstrated ability to seek out, analyze, and solve novel problems
- 7+ years of experience with one or more query language (R, Python, SQL, etc.)
- Experience, or an understanding of, Robotic Process Automation (RPA)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
- Strong attention to detail and ability to organize
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Quantitative and/or data analysis skills and experience required
- 7 or more years of experience related to healthcare data
- Certification in one or more electronic health records preferred
- Certification in a technology framework (Azure, GCP, AWS, IBM, etc.) preferred
Compensation and Additional Details
- Work in a professional office environment from Nordic’s home office in Madison, WI or fully remote
- Travel up to 25% of the time
- Salary will be based on skills and experience
