Your role

A Nordic Digital Health senior consultant acts like an owner by providing expert-level troubleshooting and problem solving. You'll need to fulfill reporting and analytical requests from clients by performing issue analysis, translating needs into detailed requirement specifications, and performing system build and testing. We're looking for someone who can make it about "we" by mentoring junior staffing and being a knowledge lead for team members. If this sounds like you, here are a couple things you’ll need:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • 4+ years of experience in data analysis or business data analysis
  • Certification in one or more Epic reporting module; Cogito, Clarity, or Caboodle preferred
  • Certification in one or more data visualization application, such as PowerBI, Qlik, Tableau, etc.

Full Job Description

Senior Consultant - Digital Health

The Digital Health senior consultant supports design, build, testing, and troubleshooting for data integration, data modeling, and visualization analytics tools for Nordic’s clients. This position works under the direction of senior reporting and analytics staff to address documented client needs while actively seeking opportunities to increase the value of the data to the business and focuses on projects that improve business processes.

Key Responsibilities

The Digital Health senior consultant will have the following key responsibilities including, but not limited to:

  • Performing expert-level troubleshooting and problem solving of reporting and analytics tools
  • Assisting Digital Health leadership team with solution design and techn architecture
  • Fulfilling reporting and analytical requests from clients by performing issue analysis within their applications and across other integrated applications and systems, translating needs into detailed requirement specifications, and performing system build and testing and creating detailed product documentation
  • Working with leadership to develop detailed requirement specifications, including estimated work effort
  • Managing assigned tasks related to reporting, data, and analytics issues while maintaining a high standard of service for all customer requests
  • Providing updates for and participating as needed in weekly status calls with customers, including updates on help desk ticketing system function, requests processed, and issues solved
  • Documenting and communicating technical issues and translating technical issues into step-by-step resolutions for customer counterparts and internal Nordic team members
  • Participating in upgrades and performing testing as needed
  • Continuously improving process and internal support documents
  • Assisting in the improvement of workflows and processes
  • Mentoring application analysts and being a knowledge lead for team members
  • Participating in continuous learning opportunities to grow solution expertise
  • Maximizing team productivity and operational metrics
  • Coordinating and forecasting work while planning accordingly
  • Working on projects that may be assigned on an ad hoc basis and may assist other corporate initiatives as necessary, directed, assigned, or requested

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, required
  • 4+ years’ experience in data analysis or business data analysis required
  • Certification in one or more Epic reporting modules is required; Cogito, Clarity, or Caboodle preferred
  • Certification in one or more data visualization applications (PowerBI, Qlik, Tableau, etc.)
  • Demonstrated ability to seek out, analyze, and solve novel problems
  • Experience in data warehousing and overall data management within cloud and/or on-premises technologies
  • Capable of designing and executing on a multi-source data strategy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to organize
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Quantitative and/or data analysis skills and experience required
  • Epic certification in multiple application modules
  • 5 or more years of experience related to Epic modules

Compensation and Additional Details

  • Travel up to 50% of the time
  • Salary will be based on skills and experience
