Senior Account Manager - Client Partnerships
The senior account manager of Client Partnerships is a trusted partner to Nordic clients and prospective clients. This position includes building strong relationships, identifying and managing staff augmentation opportunities, providing exceptional delivery of Nordic staff for those opportunities, and partnering with our account executives to ensure every client experience exceeds expectations. The senior account manager will work closely with the account executives to which they are assigned, as well as the vice president of Client Partnership for their region. This position is a critical part of the Client Partnerships team and serves, in conjunction with account managers, account directors, and account executives, as a central point of contact for clients in solving problems in the spirit of Nordic’s maxims.
Key Responsibilities
In partnership with their assigned account executive, the senior account manager will have the following key responsibilities including, but not limited to:- Creating and maintaining exceptional relationships with key client stakeholders and internal partners
- Assisting assigned account executive in identifying, developing, managing, and winning large, complex sales opportunities
- Supporting assigned account executive in creation of proposals in response to client RFP and solution requests
- Identifying client needs and responding attentively to inbound client staff augmentation requests
- Providing excellent customer service through creative problem solving as well as timely and professional communication
- Scheduling interviews for Nordic consultants, clients, and consultant on-site leads
- Coordinating with internal partners to ensure satisfactory consultant onboarding for our clients
- Developing and complying with internal processes to maintain relevant customer details, such as staff opportunities, client contacts, and communications
- Assisting with and attending Nordic special events and conferences at corporate office or other locations
- Collaborating with internal team members to continually enhance operational processes to improve business operations, client experience, and operational efficiency
- Working on projects that may be assigned on an ad hoc basis and may assist other corporate initiatives as necessary
- Remaining flexible to ever-changing client requests while working with assigned account executive to prioritize and work through tasks.
- Supporting the account executive and the proposal team throughout RFP/RFQ/RFI client requests
- Sharing and developing best practices across teams for CRM, communication, and other business processes
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Experience with EHRs, particularly Epic, preferred
- Demonstrated success in customer service or account management
- Experience utilizing a strong customer service attitude and skill set
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to organize and prioritize tasks
- Must demonstrate and embody Nordic’s maxims
- Able to work well under pressure and within time constraints
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
- 1-3 years of experience in sales operations related field preferred
Compensation and Additional Details
- Position is located in Nordic's home office in Madison, WI
- Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time
- Salary will be based on skills and experience
