Your role

A Nordic senior Managed Services orders consultant is more than an Epic application expert. We’re also looking for someone who is passionate about mentoring and collaborating in a team environment and is excited to be actively engaged in supporting a variety of Epic clients. You can do all of this from Nordic's downtown home office, one of the best places to work in Madison, or remotely from wherever you live. You'll need to be a strong communicator who can keep in close contact with the client while you're working remotely.   • Five or more years of Epic IT experience, specifically with Orders modules
  • Certifications in Procedure Orders and Order Transmittal
  • Experience with ticketing systems and change management processes

Senior Managed Services Orders Consultant

The senior Managed Services Orders consultant provides Epic EHR design, build, testing and troubleshooting services for Nordic Clients.

Key Responsibilities

The senior Managed Services consultant's responsibilities include, but are not limited to

  • Performing advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving of Epic applications to assist end users with production-related items
  • Fulfilling system requests from end users and translating needs into detailed requirement specifications
  • Building and configuring Epic to meet end users' requirements
  • Ensuring the integrity, integration, and stability of Epic applications
  • Performing in-depth analysis of workflows, system setup, and system audits as necessary
  • Coordinating system upgrades and participating in all types of system testing
  • Managing requests related to area of application expertise
  • Accurately completing up-to-date documentation in relevant ticketing system(s) regarding requests processed and incidents solved
  • Continuously improving process and internal support documents
  • Assisting in the improvement of workflows and processes
  • Following proper change control policies for application builds and configurations
  • Providing updates to clients and status updates as needed
  • Attending and participating in team meetings
  • Leading application management work at client(s) in relevant application module across multiple engagements
  • Mentoring application analysts and being a knowledge lead for team members
  • Participating in continuous learning opportunities to grow solution expertise
  • Contributing to team operational objectives by maximizing efficiency
  • Maximizing team productivity and operational metrics
  • Coordinating and forecasting work while planning accordingly
  • Working on projects that may be assigned on an ad hoc basis and assisting other corporate initiatives as necessary, directed, assigned, or requested

Skills and Experience

  • Post-secondary education or equivalent experience, required
  • Ability to apply problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to organize
  • Must be able to work independently, as well as within a team environment
  • Procedure Orders and Order Transmittal Epic certifications
  • Five or more years of experience related to Epic Orders modules
  • Prior experience with ticketing systems and change management processes
  • Strong customer service track record
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes, preferred

Compensation and Additional Details

  • Ability to take on-call rotations
  • Ability to travel up to 10 percent of the time
  • Salary will be based on skills and experience
