Your role

A Nordic Managed Services associate supports a variety of Epic clients across the nation from Nordic's home office, recently named the best place to work in Madison. You'll have the opportunity to expand your skills in the fast-paced field of healthcare IT. We're looking for a strong communicator who can keep in close contact with the client while you're working remotely. If this sounds like you, here are a couple things you’ll need:

Full Job Description

Managed Services Associate

The Managed Services Associate works toward an Epic certification and assists team members in providing Epic EHR design, build, testing, and troubleshooting services for Nordic clients.

Key Responsibilities

The Managed Services Associate's responsibilities include, but are not limited to

  • Learning, preparing, and studying for appropriate Epic Certification
  • Participating in system testing
  • Taking customer calls about issues, resolving the issue during the call, or adequately documenting and transitioning the issue
  • Accurately completing up-to-date documentation in relevant ticketing system(s) regarding requests processed and incidents solved
  • Assisting in the improvement of workflows and processes
  • Following proper change control policies for application builds and configurations
  • Providing updates to analysts and consultants as needed
  • Attending and participating in team meetings
  • Working on projects that may be assigned on an ad hoc basis and possibly assisting other corporate initiatives as necessary, directed, assigned, or requested

Skills and Experience

  • Post-secondary education or equivalent experience required
  • Ability to apply problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
  • Must demonstrate and embody Nordic’s maxims
  • Must be Epic certified in relevant application module(s) within six months of starting
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to organize
  • Must be able to work independently as well as within a team environment

Compensation and Additional Details

  • Position is located at our home office in Madison, WI
  • Ability to travel up to five percent of the time
  • Salary will be based on skills and experience
