Your role

A Nordic Digital Health junior developer (analyst) acts like an owner by addressing documented client needs while actively seeking opportunities to increase the value of the data to the business and focusing on projects that improve business processes. You'll provide critical support enabling the management of Digital Health projects. We're looking for someone who can make it about "we" collaborating with senior staff to develop detailed requirement specifications and estimated work effort. If this sounds like you, here are a couple things you’ll need:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • Experience with data ETL functions required; SSIS experience preferred
  • Certification or experience in one or more EHR data models preferred
  • Certification in one or more data visualization application, such as PowerBI, Qlik, Tableau, etc., is preferred

Full Job Description

Junior Developer (Analyst) - Digital Health

The Digital Health analyst supports the build of data integration or visualization analytics tools for Nordic clients. This position works under the direction of senior reporting and analytics staff to address documented client needs while actively seeking opportunities to increase the value of the data to the business and focuses on projects that improve business processes.

Key Responsibilities

The Digital Health analyst will have the following key responsibilities including, but not limited to:

  • Providing critical support enabling the management of Digital Health projects
  • Troubleshooting and problem solving of reporting and analytics tools
  • Independently fulfilling reporting and analytical requests from client
  • Collaborating with senior staff to develop detailed requirement specifications and estimated work effort
  • Displaying creativity and critical thinking in solving problems and ability to quickly comprehend new processes
  • Managing assigned tasks related to reporting, data, and analytics issues while maintaining a high standard of service for all customer requests
  • Providing updates for and participating as needed in weekly status calls with customers, including updates on help desk ticketing system function, requests processed, and issues solved
  • Participating in upgrades and performing testing as needed
  • Collaborating with internal team members to continually enhance processes and workflows to improve business operations, client experience, and operational efficiency
  • Independently working to continually improve processes and workflows to generate efficiencies
  • Working on projects that may be assigned on an ad hoc basis and may assist other corporate initiatives as necessary, directed, assigned, or requested

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, required
  • Experience with data ETL functions required; SSIS experience preferred
  • Certification or experience with one or more EHR data models is preferred
  • Certification in one or more relevant data visualization (PowerBI, Qlik, Tableau, etc.) is preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to seek out, analyze, and solve novel problems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to organize
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Quantitative and/or data analysis skills and experience required
  • Must demonstrate and embody Nordic’s maxims 

Compensation and Additional Details

  • Travel up to 25% of the time
  • Salary will be based on skills and experience
