Your role

A Nordic candidate relations manager is the first point of contact in acquiring our most important asset, great people. You’ll need to be able to make it about "we" and be open and direct while conducting initial phone interviews and ensuring candidates meet Nordic's requirements. In addition, you'll work with the client and consulting teams to find the right opportunities for Nordic candidates. We’re looking for a great communicator to help build and maintain relationships with candidates and make sure their first contact with Nordic is a great experience. Candidate Relations Manager

The Candidate Relations team is the hub for applicants to roles at Nordic in Epic Consulting, Managed Services, Data and Analytics, and our Home Office. Candidate Relations Managers source to build candidate pipelines, evaluate candidates’ skills and fit for Nordic, and build and maintain strong candidate relationships along the way.

Key Responsibilities

The Candidate Relations Manager will be responsible for, but not be limited to

  • Recruiting up to the point of hire for assigned roles
  • Advocating for candidates when the right fit comes up in any of Nordic’s current service lines
  • Building and sustaining relationships with candidates
  • Conducting phone and in-person interviews to ensure candidates meet Nordic’s hiring requirements
  • Sourcing new candidates on LinkedIn and other channels
  • Collaborating with consulting practice teams to determine the best candidates for client requests
  • Maintaining candidate pipelines and meeting practice KPIs
  • Creating, designing, and implementing appropriate tools and processes to monitor candidate- relationships
  • Utilizing and maintaining CRM information for candidate and consulting tracking and reporting
  • Working with marketing to develop materials for recruiting prospective Nordic employees
  • Attending Nordic functions and community networking events
  • Actively participating as an essential member of the Candidate Relations team, supporting efficiencies and team goals
  • Working on projects that may be assigned on an ad hoc basis and may assist other corporate initiatives as necessary, directed, assigned, or requested

Skills and Experience

  • Two or more years of professional experience required; recruiting or talent acquisition experience strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to connect with a wide range of new people and build quick rapport
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on customer service
  • Driven to move quickly and motivated to win
  • Able to balance urgent, short-term needs with strategic, long-term priorities
  • Adaptable and able to embrace the gray with a positive attitude
  • Organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively monitor all tasks associated with candidate recruitment and selection at various stages of the process

Compensation and Additional Details

  • Position is located at our home office in Madison, WI
  • Occasional travel up to 10 percent of the time
  • Salary will be based on skills and experience
