April is National Poetry Month, arguably (or at least according to this editor) the best month of the year. It's Nordic's opinion that poetry could bring a little more joy to almost everyone's life, if they just had a little more exposure to writing and reading it.
With that in mind, we held a Nordic-themed haiku contest and invited our home office team members and consultants to submit a three-line poem of 17 syllables, arranged as five/seven/five. We've included some of our favorites below for your enjoyment, not coincidentally released on National Haiku Day (April 17). Happy National Poetry Month!
