Hi everyone, my name is Scott Isaacson, Nordic's director of affiliate solutions. I'm here today to talk to you about the difference between Community Connect and EpicCare Link. When we work with our clients, we talk about Community Connect being a methodology which allows them to extend full Epic functionality to their affiliate partners. They get the same experience as though they were standing in your facility. There is no Community Connect certification that your analysts would need to take.

This gives users read-only access to a patient's chart, limiting ordering functionality, as well as messaging through In Basket. This might be a great choice for your partners if they want to remain on paper or stick with their legacy electronic medical record.

If you'd like to know more about Community Connect or Epiccare Link, please reach out. We'd be happy to chat.
