Jim Costanzo

Chief Executive Officer

Jim joined Nordic as CEO in 2019, bringing with him well over 30 years of healthcare experience. Prior to Nordic, he served as both global health leader and Americas health advisory leader at Ernst & Young.

In addition to his time at EY, Jim has held leadership roles with multiple consulting firms including Deloitte and PwC. He has experience in the healthcare provider and payor sectors, ranging from full life-cycle systems development through capacity planning, execution, maintenance, and operations. Jim has spent time with industry and government leaders all over the world, understanding the health issues they face and helping them find solutions to their most complex issues. His experience includes large-scale business transformation for all aspects of health organizations.

Jim makes his home in the Detroit suburbs with his wife Denise. They have three children.

Glenn Cole

Glenn Cole

Executive VP/Chief Financial Officer

Glenn is a seasoned finance executive with significant operational experience working in complex, distributed, high-growth technology and services organizations over a career spanning more than 30 years. In addition to overseeing Nordic’s finance, accounting, and treasury operations, Glenn plays a key role in developing strategy, capital, operating and control structures, evaluating international expansion and acquisition opportunities, and working closely with Nordic’s investor group.

Glenn came to Nordic from Ghafari Companies, an international architecture, engineering and technology firm, where he served as Executive Vice President and CFO. He received a Crain’s Business CFO of the Year Award in 2012 for his leadership in directing the company’s significant international expansion. Prior to Ghafari, Glenn served as Senior Vice President and CFO at Nighthawk Radiology Services, a publicly-traded international teleradiology services provider, and before that, for 11 years as a CFO in Thomson Reuters’ healthcare segment. Glenn began his career in public accounting, where he consulted on numerous acquisitions, both foreign and domestic.

Glenn is a Certified Public Accountant, Chartered Global Management Accountant, and a member of both the American Institute and Michigan Association of CPAs. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan, Ross School of Business.

Vivek Swaminathan

Vivek Swaminathan

President of Managed Services

Vivek is an experienced business leader and manager with nearly 15 years of experience leading in software and services organizations across multiple industries. In addition to his experience providing direct technical support, implementation services, and project management for clients, he has an extensive background in management and leadership across a variety of teams.

In April 2017 Vivek was named president of Managed Services. In that role he oversees the Managed Services division, develops and maintains critical customer and vendor relationships, and determines and monitors business goals. Prior to moving into his current role, Vivek managed Nordic’s consulting services, candidate relations, and business line teams. He joined Nordic as a senior consultant in 2011 and was an on-site lead at Bellin Health before joining the home office team.

Before his tenure at Nordic, Vivek was director of operations at WTS Paradigm. As a member of the executive management team, he was involved in creating and monitoring company goals and was responsible for leadership, management, and profitability for all client services. Prior to working at WTS, he held several positions at Epic, most recently as technical services group lead.

Vivek earned a B.S. in electrical engineering as well as a certificate in business from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.

Jim Deischer

Jim Deischer

Executive VP of Finance

Jim is a seasoned executive with over 25 years of experience in finance, accounting, and administration in the healthcare software and consulting industry. He joined Nordic in 2013 and has served as VP of finance since 2016. Jim oversees accounting and finance, which includes payroll, billing and reimbursement, and accounts payable. He is heavily involved in the development of the team, the budgeting and forecasting of the business, and partnering with the various business lines for their financial and strategic success.

Prior to his time at Nordic, Jim spent 18 years at Epic, starting in 1993 as a staff accountant when Epic had only 40 employees. He took great pride in helping Epic with its explosive growth. During his time there, he served in various roles, including accounting, finance, payroll, benefits, pricing, and administration. He ended his career at Epic as the director of accounting, managing teams as large as 40 people. Following his time at Epic, he served as a CFO for a company in the data center infrastructure industry.

A native of Sauk Prairie, Wisconsin, Jim earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. He is a CPA and an Executive MBA graduate from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Jim has a passion for sports and mentoring young athletes. He played many sports as a youth, and basketball and volleyball were his passions in college. He now spends more time coaching than playing. He is currently a head coach for a local AAU basketball program and has also coached youth baseball and football. He models his coaching philosophy around the pillars of RED - respect, effort, and discipline - and stresses the importance of having fun. When Jim isn’t busy mentoring coworkers or athletes, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Sarah, son, Finley and daughter, Sydney, on Lake Wisconsin.
Michelle Lichte

Michelle Lichte

Executive VP of Client Partnerships

Michelle leads Nordic’s Client Partnerships team as executive vice president. She joined Nordic in July 2017 bringing with her over 26 years of healthcare IT experience. Michelle is a veteran healthcare IT leader with a passion for performance improvement and change management. She has expertise across the health IT space including managing complex EHR projects, implementation planning, out-of-the box solutions, mergers, acquisitions and instance consolidation.   

Michelle was an implementation executive at Epic, where she worked for almost 18 years. In addition to serving on the implementation leadership team, she worked in quality assurance, technical services, sales, demos, and internal education.

Following her time at Epic, Michelle was the COO for OSF HealthCare’s IT LLC and was the VP of client service for an Epic consulting firm.

A native of Wisconsin, Michelle earned a BBA in healthcare management  from UW-Madison. She began her career in healthcare at UW Hospital and Clinics where she worked for four and a half years, serving as data base manager and editorial assistant.

Vicki Ryan

Vicki Ryan

Executive VP of Human Resources

Vicki leads Nordic’s Human Resources team, focusing on fostering Nordic’s high-performance culture and developing talent. Her varied experiences in business operations, finance, information technology, and human resources bring an uncommon lens to human capital.

Prior to Nordic, Vicki spent 10 years in the financial services industry, including American Family Insurance, a Fortune 500 property and casualty insurance company. There she implemented strategies that successfully improved employee engagement, led a cross-functional team focused on reengineering the organization’s employee value proposition, and provided organizational development consultation to the company’s senior leaders. Vicki also served as a commercial credit analyst for US Bank, where she was responsible for underwriting a portfolio in excess of $2 billion.

Vicki holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse, a master’s certificate in project management from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, and an MBA in human resources from the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater.

 
Katherine Sager

Katherine Sager

Executive VP of Consulting Services

Katherine joined Nordic in 2011 and has held a variety of roles before being named Executive VP of Consulting Services in April 2017. In her current role, she oversees the management of all consultants and candidates. She has over a decade of experience in the Epic space as a project manager and people leader.

Prior to joining the executive team, Katherine was a practice director at Nordic, heading the OpTime, Anesthesia, Radiant, and Cupid groups. She also worked as a consultant on the OpTime/Anesthesia team at WIITTS and at Aurora Health Care in Milwaukee.

Katherine began her healthcare IT career at Epic, where she was an implementation services team lead for the OpTime/Anesthesia team. Katherine holds a B.A. in history from Davidson College and an M.Phil. in economic and social history from the University of Oxford.

 
Matt Schaefer

Matt Schaefer

Executive VP of Strategic Services

Matt oversees Nordic’s strategic services and has nearly a decade of experience leading major healthcare IT projects. He continues to help health systems drive innovation with his growing team of experienced healthcare thought-leaders. In seven years at Epic, he was an implementation executive on many large implementations and also served as primary Epic contact and strategic advisor for the C-suite at a number of clients. In 2014, he began working at Forte Research Systems as the VP of client experience, helping healthcare organizations manage their clinical trials portfolios.

Matt holds a number of Epic certifications and has a chemistry degree from the University of Notre Dame.

 
Cathy Smith

Cathy Smith

Executive VP Practice Leader and Managing Director of Revenue Cycle Transformation

Cathy Smith is a leader of Nordic’s revenue cycle transformation practice. She served as managing director of The Claro Group’s revenue cycle transformation practice (now part of Nordic) since 2011. With over 25 years of healthcare experience, Cathy is a nationally-recognized expert in the areas of healthcare operational and financial management, patient financial services, and informational technology.

She has dedicated the last 15+ years to management consulting in various areas of healthcare operations. She has broad experience across the healthcare spectrum and a deep understanding of the requirements for effective change within healthcare organizations. Cathy has experience developing solutions across the revenue cycle continuum. She’s led broad engagements delivering tens of millions of dollars of annual benefit to clients and developed models to measure net revenue benefit and cost reductions. She authored and annually updated the HFMA coaching course for the national Fellow certification for over 10 years. She also taught the coaching course at the HFMA Annual National Institute for several years.

Cathy has served as a healthcare auditor where she performed financial, operational and compliance audits. She also led the business operations for a large academic health system, where she also guided the development, testing and implementation of the patient business services software for the health system which covered acute care, physician/clinic services and sub-acute care services.

Cathy has served as managing director for another large consulting firm and consulted for Arthur Andersen where she helped build its west coast revenue cycle practice. She holds a master’s degree in computer science from the University of Texas.

Pat-Hingley

Pat Hingley

Managing Director of Cerner Solutions

Pat Hingley is an HIT leader with over 30 years of management and executive level experience in the vendor, customer, and consulting spaces. She joined Nordic in July 2019 as managing director for the Cerner practice. Prior to Nordic, Pat was the practice VP at Atos Digital Health Solutions Consulting, where she helped build the Cerner practice from the ground up.

Her experience includes over 14 years in management at Siemens Medical (formerly SMS). Pat has led implementation teams for clinical, administrative systems, PACS, RIS, and networking, and led the implementation of a multi-entity Cerner Millennium EHR at a 1,200-bed academic medical center. 

In addition to her implementation experiences, Pat has also played an active role in vendor selections, help desk management, systems integration, Meaningful Use, ICD-10, and cloud projects. She has conducted multiple operational assessments and formally mentored both leaders and staff in multiple customer engagements. She has led teams that have successfully integrated and supported software applications, networks, facilities, and mission critical systems. During her career, Pat has specialized in management of organizations undergoing significant change and in building and maintaining strong customer relationships.

Pat graduated from St. Joseph’s University with a degree in healthcare administration. She lives in Valley Forge, PA with her husband Chris, a retired Army lieutenant colonel, and their two cats, Franklin and Tigger. They have three adult children, Charissa, Sarah, and Chris. Pat is active in the community, including volunteering for Drexel University’s Community Advisory Committee for Health Services Administration Programs. When relaxing, Pat enjoys needlework, sewing, and playing board games. She is an avid reader and traveler.

Lorin Martin

Lorin Martin

Managing Director of Revenue Cycle Transformation

Lorin has over 17 years of experience leading revenue cycle transformation both as a member of a consulting firm and from within a healthcare system. He joined The Claro Group revenue cycle practice (now a part of Nordic) in 2012 and serves as director. Throughout his career, Lorin has worked with large academic medical centers, multi-facility health systems, community hospitals, and physician practices to drive millions of dollars in net revenue improvements and achieve significant operational efficiencies. He has worked with over 70 hospitals and health systems across the U.S.

Prior to joining The Claro Group, Lorin worked at a 36-hospital health system where he served as a leader to drive revenue cycle standardization and financial/clinical integration. Before that, Lorin was a leader within Wellspring Partners and Stockamp & Associates (part of Huron Consulting Group) where he led many comprehensive revenue cycle engagements and initiatives across the country.

Shannon Yasseri

Shannon Yasseri

Managing Director of Revenue Cycle Transformation

Shannon is a leader of the revenue cycle transformation practice and provides executive project oversight. She served as a managing director with The Claro Group’s revenue cycle transformation practice (now a part of Nordic) since 2011. Shannon has nearly 20 years of healthcare experience and has provided management consulting services primarily focusing on revenue cycle operations to improve hospital and health systems’ financial performance, including both net revenue realization and cost reduction efforts.

Shannon’s expertise spans across the revenue continuum where she has helped organizations of all sizes ranging from sole-community providers to some of the country’s largest integrated health systems including small physician practices to large multi-specialty medical groups. Prior to joining The Claro Group, Shannon was a senior director at a large national healthcare consulting firm.

Amy Rettler

Amy Rettler

Managing Director of Business Development - Revenue Cycle Solutions

Amy was employed by Epic from 2006-2010, working on implementations and with prospective clients. She holds certifications in Inpatient, Ambulatory, Willow and Beacon. Amy spent a year working at the Epic Europe office in Den Bosch, implementing with Dutch clients, as well as working with prospective European clients. Amy holds a B.S in Genetics and an M.S. in Medical Genetics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Elizabeth Kerch-Briggs

Elizabeth Kerch-Briggs

VP of Client Partnerships

Before joining Nordic, Elizabeth was the Project Manager for a Nordic Affiliate Solutions engagement. She also spent four years as an Epic applications manager at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City. Elizabeth started her career at Epic in Implementation Services and holds 11 Epic certifications. She also has her PMP and ITIL certifications and graduated from the University of Wisconsin.

 
Mark Ostendorf

Mark Ostendorf

VP of Client Partnerships

Mark joined Nordic in April 2017 as VP of client partnerships for the west region, bringing with him over 12 years of experience in the health IT field. Prior to his time at Nordic, Mark worked five years for Lexmark Enterprise Software in healthcare sales, most recently serving as regional VP.

He began his career at Epic, where he worked for nearly seven years. At Epic, Mark was a member of the implementation team, specializing in OpTime and Anesthesia.  He is also certified in ClinDoc and Orders.

Mark graduated from Southeast Missouri State University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and earned his MBA from the University of Missouri. He currently resides in Kansas City.

Zack Selleck

Zack Selleck

VP of Client Partnerships

Zack joined Nordic in July 2017 as VP of Client Partnerships for the central region, bringing with him nearly 13 years of experience in healthcare IT sales. Prior to his time at Nordic, he worked for Leidos Health for a decade. There Zack served in multiple leadership roles, most recently as regional VP.

He began his career in healthcare as an accounts manager with Maxim Healthcare Services recruiting and placing healthcare professionals in a variety of clinical settings.

Zack graduated from Western Michigan with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. He makes his home in Spring Lake, Michigan with his wife Bethany and their two children. He’s an avid distance runner.

VP of Client Operations

Meghan oversees client projects, identifying new opportunities, managing quality control and ensuring high levels of customer service.

She spent over four years working for Epic implementation services from 2005-2009. She holds three Epic certifications, including HIM, ADT and Prelude. Prior to joining the home office, Meghan worked as a Nordic consultant at Bellin Health from 2011-2012.

John Pollard

John Pollard

VP of Marketing

JP has over 20 years of marketing experience ranging from product management roles to leadership at award-winning agencies. He has marketed for American Airlines’ SABRE division, SAP’s Germany-based services organization, and also for startups in supply chain technology and healthcare. Prior to joining Nordic in January of 2014, JP was a digital experience strategist, serving clients like Pepsico and the American Heart Association.

A native of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, JP has a bachelor’s degree in music performance from Gustavus Adolphus College and an M.A. in English from the University of North Texas, where he also continued honing his drumming skills. When he’s not coaching the greatest team of marketers in health IT, you can find JP recording music in his studio at home, cross country skiing, or drumming with a variety of regional bands. He can also speak mostly comprehensible German if needed.
Abby Polich, MBA

Abby Polich, MBA

VP of Strategic Solutions, Affiliate

Abby leads Nordic’s Affiliate Solutions team, focusing on clients extending Epic to their healthcare partners via Connect methodology, through mergers and acquisitions, or other strategic partnerships.

Abby started her career at Epic on the original team responsible for creating and implementing Epic’s 48-Hour Install methodology, later rebranded Connect. She joined Nordic in 2011 as a consultant working on numerous affiliate projects. In 2013 she became the director of affiliate solutions and was promoted to VP, Affiliate Solutions in 2015. She provides strategic guidance in addition to project management support for clients creating and implementing their Epic extension programs.

Abby is an energetic leader and strong communicator who enjoys working with both senior management and end users to execute successful projects. She graduated summa cum laude from Luther College with a degree in business administration and minors in economics and music, and from the University of Wisconsin School of Business with her MBA.

 
Sriram Devarakonda

Sriram Devarakonda

VP of Strategic Solutions, Data & Analytics

Sriram joined Nordic in March of 2017 as the VP of Data & Analytics. Sriram’s charter at Nordic is to help customers realize meaningful insights from healthcare data using cutting edge analytics technologies.

He has over a decade of healthcare IT experience in the realms of EHR implementations, data integration and analytics, and population health. Prior to Nordic, he led a global services team at Caradigm, where he helped the nation’s leading organizations transition from a fee-for-service to a value-based care model . Before moving over to Caradigm, Sriram worked for Microsoft’s Health Solutions Group in Washington, D.C.  He led a cross-functional team of data and applications engineers, responsible for integrating data from highly disparate sources and building clinical solutions such as readmissions, safety prevention, and infection control and other early warning systems.

Sriram began his healthcare IT career by working for Epic, where he was a technical services team lead for the clinical team. He holds Epic certifications in Inpatient and ASAP. A native of South India, Sriram holds a bachelor’s degree in electronics and telecommunications and a master’s degree in electrical engineering from George Mason University. He currently lives in Virginia.

Ian Mamminga

VP of Solutions, Managed Services

In August 2017, Ian was promoted to VP of solutions, Managed Services after joining Nordic in February 2016 as the director of Managed Services. He draws on over 15 years of experience in healthcare IT to lead Nordic’s Managed Services team. Ian began his career as a consultant at Cerner Corporation. Over a 13-year tenure with Cerner, he also led initiatives ranging from managing consulting practices to executive leadership roles over application management. Prior to joining Nordic, Ian worked at Netsmart Technologies where he led a consulting practice and also launched and operated a managed services business.

Ian holds a degree in business administration from the University of Kansas and an MBA with a focus on health industry management, management and strategy and decision sciences from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Brian Beinborn

Brian Beinborn

VP of Strategic Solutions, Optimization and Advisory

Brian joined Nordic in August 2017 as the VP of Optimization and Advisory Services. He has well over a decade of healthcare IT experience, including nearly 12 years working for Epic. Prior to joining Nordic, Brian spent a year with Clinical Path Consulting where he developed the healthcare IT consulting practice for Epic clients. In addition, he has experience as a client director with Lexmark.

While at Epic, Brian worked on the Continuous Process Improvement team and the Implementation Services team. He served in multiple client roles across engagements in a variety of healthcare settings. Brian also served as an Epic Foundation System Subject Matter Expert, Customer Success Owner, and Development Success Owner among other roles while at Epic. He holds Epic certifications in OpTime, Anesthesia, ASAP, Inpatient Orders, Beaker, Orthopaedics, and Clin Doc.

A native of Wisconsin, Brian graduated from UW-Madison with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and mass communications. He also runs a charity, Rabbi’s, Inc., in memory of his father, to raise money for cancer research and scholarships. Brian currently lives in Chicago with his wife and their dog.

 
John Manzuk

John Manzuk

VP of Delivery - Managed Services

John is an experienced healthcare IT manager and has served in numerous roles with Nordic since 2012. He has been Nordic's VP of delivery for the Managed Services division since October 2017. Prior to taking on his current role, John was the VP of Consulting Services leading a growing team of practice directors and managing areas of the Consulting Services division.

John joined Nordic in 2012 as a senior consultant working at Dean/WIITTS in Madison. Prior to Nordic, he was a senior business management consultant at Scientific Commercialization. John worked for Epic from 2008-2011 as a project manager on the implementation team, specializing in Epic's Ambulatory module. He holds Epic certifications in Clin Doc, HOD, and Orders.

John has a bachelor's degree in biochemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Leah Anderson

Leah Anderson

Senior Director of Candidate Relations

Leah leads the candidate relations team, where she seeks out and builds relationships with candidates for consulting and home office roles. She joined Nordic in 2015 as a candidate relations manager and was promoted to candidate relations director in October 2016 and senior candidate relations manager in January 2018. Prior to joining Nordic, she spent two years at Wollersheim Winery and Distillery where she managed public relations and digital marketing. She worked at Epic for a year and a half, beginning as a staffer for the CEO. She then worked in Epic’s consultant relations department, working with third-party consulting and outsourcing firms. Leah graduated from Middlebury College with a bachelor’s of arts in Chinese and a master’s of arts in Spanish.

 
Nicole Farris

Senior Director of Consulting Services

As a senior director of consulting services, Nicole helps lead the consulting services team and manages a team of practice directors. Prior to taking her current role in July 2017, she served as a practice director of over three years, building and maintaining strong relationships with the consultants in her practice and understanding their skills, strengths, preferences, priorities and professional goals to ensure they're happy with their contracts, Nordic, and their clients.

Nicole worked at Epic from 2005-2009 as an implementer for Ambulatory and Kaleidoscope. After leaving Epic, she worked as a business analyst in the financial industry for a short time, then spent 3.5 years as an Ambulatory, Beacon and Stork consultant before joining the Nordic home office.

Nicole has a bachelor's degree in marketing from St. Cloud State University's Herberger College of Business.

 
Josh Kalscheur

Josh Kalscheur

Senior Director of Consulting Services

Josh is passionate about performing at a high level, exceeding expectations, and having fun all the while. As a senior director of consulting services, he's responsible for leading in the formulation and execution of the direction and vision of Nordic's consulting services team. Josh manages a team of practice directors who oversee multiple Epic consulting practices, which include numerous internal employees and hundreds of consultants. He's here to help the consulting services team and, by extension, consultants excel at what they do. Prior to assuming his current role in July 2017, he served as practice director for Nordic's advisory practice for three years.

Josh worked at Epic for over four years in implementation across the revenue cycle. While at Epic, he oversaw the program used for operationalizing and implementing the revenue cycle (ARCR), and also served as a client executive advisor, helping organizations to define, recognize, and ultimately realize their revenue cycle install goals.

Josh is originally from Mt. Horeb, located in the Madison area, where he currently resides with his wife, Nicole, and their three rockstar kiddos, Veda, Averi, and Jude. He graduated from UW-Madison with a degree in psychology.

Michael Malecha

Senior Director of Strategic Solutions, ERP

Michael joined Nordic in February of 2019 as the senior director of ERP Solutions and oversees the growth and development of all of Nordic’s ERP offerings. He has over 25 years of international and domestic strategic leadership experience.

Michael has more than a decade of healthcare ERP leadership experience and has served as director of the Oracle Cloud healthcare practice at Huron Consulting Group, director of ERP at Southcoast Health, and manager of ERP solutions at Dartmouth-Hitchcock.

In addition to his healthcare-specific experience, Michael was a co-founder of the PeopleSoft Practice at IBM and a partner at CSC’s PeopleSoft practice. He led the implementation of PeopleSoft at the University of South Florida and the United Nations High Commission on Refugees (UNHCR).

Michael earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Utah and an MBA in accounting and finance from Boston University. Originally from the Minneapolis area, he currently lives in New Hampshire. He and his wife have two sons.

Andy Mueller

Andy Mueller

Senior Director of Operations - Managed Services

Andy joined Nordic’s Managed Services division in January of 2018 as director of operations. With a background in process engineering, he plays a key role in designing the processes, metrics, and management systems for efficient growth in the division.

Prior to Nordic, Andy spent the previous 14 years with Motorola, most recently as the senior manager of North America Business Operations for the business and consumer lines of radio products. At Motorola, he worked in a variety of operations, supply chain, and leadership roles where he collaborated across Motorola to design, launch, fulfill, and improve upon industry leading hardware, software, and service product offerings.

A Madison native, Andy earned his bachelor’s degree in engineering from UW-Madison and his MBA from Northwestern. He is a Six Sigma Black Belt in process development/improvement. He and his wife, Anja, live in Madison with their two young sons and two dogs.

Nick Cincotta

Nick Cincotta

Account Executive - Client Partnerships

Nick spent nine years at Epic leading implementation teams across the country. He spent four years assisting the sales team, helping existing and prospective Epic clients define software, implementation, and support strategies. Nick also led Epic’s Healthcare Safety Net Team, working with many of Epic’s Federally Qualified Health Center and safety-net clients.

Nick holds a BA in International Studies from the University of Chicago.

Eliza Corrigan

Account Executive - Client Partnerships

Eliza assumed her role as an Account Director – Client Partnerships in 2014. She started her career at Epic as an implementation project manager for the Health Information Management (HIM) and Identity applications. After several years with Epic, she wrote and managed grants and proposals for funding in the non-profit sector. Eliza returned to the healthcare IT industry as an Epic consultant in 2011 to refine her Epic expertise in areas such as legal medical record definition, release of information workflow optimization, IT change management best practices, computer assisted coding implementation, and ICD-10 preparedness.

A native Minnesotan, Eliza now resides in Denver with her beloved husband Jack. She enjoys the glorious Colorado outdoors, training (primarily for CrossFit), moonlighting as a coffee connoisseur, and traveling the world whenever possible, including regular visits back to Jack’s native Ireland. She holds a B.A. in Writing from Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa.

Aaron joined Nordic October 2015 and serves as director of business development. Prior to joining Nordic, he worked on the client team for Novu, a Minneapolis-based start up with a focus on consumer engagement for health plans. There Aaron developed an approach and strategy for integrated delivery networks and health system-owned health plans. He spent seven years at Epic working on the HIM team and was a part of Epic’s first international implementation in the Netherlands. In addition, he gained experience as an implementation director and executive for multiple customers and was a team leader. Also at Epic, Aaron was an implementation representative to HR, helping craft processes and best practices for Implementation Services hiring. Originally from Milwaukee, he graduated from UW-Madison where he majored in French, international studies, and political science. Aaron resides in Minneapolis with his wife Liz and their dog, Harriet.

Jake Aleckson

Jake Aleckson

Director of Strategic Solutions, Population Health

Jake Aleckson joined the Nordic home office as the manager of Optimization Solutions in March of 2017 after four years as a senior consultant for Nordic. He was promoted to director of Population Health in August 2018. He has over 10 years of healthcare IT and project management experience. Jake brings experience with a focus on strategy and implementation of Epic tools to support population health initiatives.

Highlights include project management of a multi-faceted Healthy Planet implementation, development of disease registries, risk stratification, data and analytics, patient engagement, affiliate connection, and the workflows supporting care coordination. In a recent innovative effort to leverage Medicare’s Chronic Care Management program, he used Epic’s Healthy Planet module to improve clinical outcomes and care coordination at a Wisconsin Hospital System.

Jake also holds Epic certifications in EpicCare Ambulatory, Reporting Workbench, Inpatient Orders, Decision Support, and MyChart. He graduated from Winona State University with bachelor’s degrees in business administration and management information systems.

Sara has been at Nordic since early 2016. In July 2018 she joined the Client Partnerships team as an account director. She is responsible for current and new client relationships in the southeast, focusing on identifying new opportunities and customer satisfaction. Previously at Nordic Sara oversaw the Managed Services application support teams as a service delivery manager and a team lead.

Sara worked at Epic for four years as a team lead for the Cadence, Prelude, and Referrals implementation teams. For six years post-Epic, she managed the implementation team responsible for rolling out eClinicalWorks to a 700+ independent physician group in Houston.

Sara graduated cum laude from Rice University with a bachelor’s in psychology. She currently resides in Houston with her husband and two children.

Bridget joined Nordic in August 2016 on the Consulting Services Ancillary Clinicals team. She worked as a practice manager and then practice director for OpTime, Anesthesia, Radiant, Cupid, Willow and Beaker. In January 2019, Bridget moved into her current role as account director on Nordic’s Client Partnerships team. Bridget is passionate about relationships and loves the creative challenge of finding a win for all parties in each situation.

Prior to joining Nordic, Bridget worked for six years in local government for Dane County Human Services, most recently as the administrative manager over the Division of Economic Assistance and Work Services. Bridget maintains strong ties to the community in working with the Rape Crisis Center of Dane County, where she has acted as a bilingual on-call advocate for over six years.

Bridget began her journey into the Epic world in 2007 when she joined the Beaker (then EpicLab) team as an implementer. During her time at Epic, she worked on the model system, supported some of the pioneer Beaker customers, performed Beaker demos for new and prospective clients, and served as a workflow/clinical SME. Prior to joining Epic, Bridget worked in hospital laboratories for five years as a laboratory assistant and phlebotomist. This clinical experience served her well during her time at Epic and continues to prove meaningful in understanding client needs and solutions from both a clinical/end user and Epic/EHR standpoint.

Originally from Massachusetts, Bridget is now happy to call McFarland, Wisconsin her home. She has a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and completed one year of medical school at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.

Practice Director (Outpatient Clinicals)

Sheryl leads the outpatient clinicals practice at Nordic and has more than seven years of healthcare IT experience. In her six-plus years at Epic, she worked as a Cadence trainer, Hospital Billing trainer, and training project manager. She was the application coordinator for an Access install. Sheryl spent an additional year and a half consulting on Epic projects as a training manager.

Sheryl is certified in Cadence, ADT/Prelude, Referrals, HIM, HOD, PB, HB, and EpicCare Ambulatory and received her B.A. from DePaul University.

Stefanie is responsible for current and new client relationships, focusing on identifying new opportunities and customer satisfaction. She started her career at Epic, spending 10 years working on implementations and providing demonstrations of the software to prospective clients. Following her time at Epic, she worked as a liaison between clients and software engineers for a Madison-based clinical research software company. Stefanie has a BA in marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.

Sarah joined the Client Partnerships team as an Account Director in February 2017 after working as a Nordic consultant supporting clients with implementations, upgrades, and optimization projects. She started her career at Epic as an implementation project manager on the Patient Access team and holds certifications in Grand Central, Prelude, Cadence, and Welcome. Following her time at Epic, Sarah worked as a product manager and project manager for Seattle-based healthcare startups, working on projects that ranged from development of API-based integrations with EMRs to opening primary care clinics.

Sarah currently resides in Seattle and makes trips back to the Nordic home office in Madison. She holds a bachelor’s degree in anthropology from Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington.

Courtney joined Nordic in July 2017 as director of business development with a focus on the southeast and west regions. He brings with him nearly two decades of experience in consulting and consulting sales, 12 of them in healthcare IT.

Before Nordic, Courtney was the VP of sales for Catalyst Healthcare Advisors for over a year. For 10 years, he sold healthcare IT consulting solutions for MaxIT Healthcare and Leidos, finishing his tenure with Leidos as area vice president for the southeastern U.S. In addition, he has experience as a sales representative with Schering Plough (now Merck). Courtney began his career as a management consultant, working over five years with Oracle and a year with Indianapolis-based Acuite Consulting Solutions.

Courtney graduated from Indiana University with a bachelor’s degree in Spanish and a minor from IU’s Kelley School of Business. He currently lives in Indianapolis with his wife, Sarah, and their two children.

Kelli has been with Nordic since May 2016, serving first as a practice manager for the Leadership practice before being promoted to her current role of practice director in October 2017. Prior to joining Epic, Kelli was with Dean Health Systems for 13 years and LinkEHR for two and a half years. At LinkEHR she was the team lead for revenue cycle.
 
Kelli has Epic certifications in ADT/Prelude and Professional Billing. She currently lives in Baraboo, Wisconsin with her husband and their two children, Tayt and Elyse.

Katie is a Registered Nurse with over 20 years of healthcare experience. She joined Nordic as a senior consultant in February 2016 before moving to the Managed Services team in January 2017.

Katie worked at Epic for three years as an Ambulatory analyst and implementation manager and team lead. Following her tenure at Epic, she transitioned to Sutter Health, where she kicked off the multi-region Ambulatory implementation project. She and her team developed the standard implementation rollout strategy and five-year strategic plan, for their large affiliate groups that spanned both Northern and Southern California.

Since that time, she has consulted as a special projects coordinator, working on a variety of projects including Epic optimization, IMO, gap analysis, Epic conversions, and lab integration. Katie holds Epic certifications in Ambulatory, OpTime/Anesthesia, Beacon, and Order Transmittal. She currently lives in Austin, Texas.

Lauren oversees Nordic's training offerings for clients. She officially moved into her current role in 2018 after serving as practice director since 2014. As a practice director, Lauren headed a team of consultants working with Training, Beaker, and Willow. Before joining the home office, Lauren was a Nordic consultant fulfilling the training manager role at the University of Arizona Health Network. She was an Epic employee from 2006-2011, where she was a trainer for Orders, Order Transmittal and Willow classes and also a training project manager. After leaving Epic, she co-owned and operated Race Day Events, LLC with her husband Ryan.

Lauren is Epic certified in Clin Doc, Orders, Willow, Ambulatory, Beacon, Order Transmittal, and Decision Support. She has a bachelor’s of science in cognitive psychology and a master’s of science in cognitive neuroscience from the University of Kansas. An avid runner, she has completed four Ironman Triathalons.

Leanna joined the Nordic home office as Director of Optimization Solutions in July 2018 after five years working as a Nordic consultant. She leads development and execution of Optimization Solutions, working with clients to make their systems more efficient and supportive of their organizational goals. Leanna brings with her 14 years of healthcare experience and is passionate about helping healthcare systems support the business of patient care with her IT expertise and a nursing background. 

She began her career in healthcare working as a nurse at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and then with the University of Maryland Medical System. She entered the world of health IT as a Cerner trainer at UMMS, then transitioned to the Epic team. Leanna has eight years of experience working with Epic, including system and workflow optimization, program management, implementation, upgrades, and affiliates and acquisitions.

Leanna is an RN, graduating with a bachelor’s of science degree in nursing from Waynesburg University in Pennsylvania. She is certified in Clin Doc, Procedure Orders, Healthy Planet, and Clarity: Inpatient.

Treena has a background in entrepreneurship and healthcare. Early in her career, she started a small business enterprise and successfully ran the operation for a decade. Attracted to start-up companies, Treena joined Nordic in September 2011, its second year of existence. During her Nordic tenure, Treena has held many roles, all of which have allowed her to apply her passion for helping healthcare organizations.
 
In her current role, Treena is an Account Director on our Client Partnership team in the central region. She applies her passion for nurturing relationships and her creative and strategic nature to serve Nordic’s client partners’ needs across the Nordic solutions and staff augmentation continuums.
 
Treena has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. She currently holds the director of education position with the HIMSS Wisconsin Chapter board and is an active community member, volunteering with Tri 4 Schools and the Madison West High School football program.
 
Lindsay Hudson

Lindsay Hudson, PMP

Originally from Minnesota and a proud UW Badger, Lindsay serves Nordic’s client partners in the northeast. She joined Nordic in 2013 and was instrumental in establishing the operational processes and technical infrastructure to support Nordic’s clients and employees, directing Nordic’s project management office and administration/facilities teams. She has also served as Nordic’s HIPAA privacy officer. Lindsay is passionate about organizational transformation and the importance of strong operational engagement and leadership through all stages of an IT effort.

With a background in marketing and event management, Lindsay’s healthcare IT career began in 2005 at Epic where she spent over six years on the implementation team, starting in Inpatient Clinical Documentation and maintaining nine Epic certifications. At Epic, she focused on implementation executive and director roles, was a team lead, and oversaw project management training for implementation services. She collaborated with the training team to establish the initial, formal super-user training program and consulted with clients on go-live and change management strategies.

Lindsay and her husband relocated their family to the Twin Cities area from Madison in 2018. She enjoys singing, theater, travel, and learning from and laughing with her young kids.

Scott has 10 years of Epic experience, including implementation, optimization, mergers and acquisitions, and Connect methodology. He began his career at Epic in technical services for the HIM application. After working briefly in the insurance industry, he joined the UW Hospital and Clinics ambulatory implementation team as a full-time employee. Scott started consulting in 2012 as the ambulatory project manager at the University of Arizona Health Network. Following the completion of the project, he joined Nordic in 2014 and worked on numerous Optimization Solutions and Affiliate Solutions projects before joining the home office in November 2015. He is certified in EpicCare Ambulatory and MyChart and has a bachelor’s of science in business administration from Michigan Technological University where he majored in management information systems. Scott also holds a master’s certificate in project management from UW-Madison.

Greg joined Nordic in July 2017 as an account director with a focus on the Southeast. Greg has been in the healthcare industry for over 25 years and brings extensive Healthcare Technology experience across multiple EHR vendor solutions, including Epic, Cerner, McKesson, and Meditech as well as technology strategy, ERP, and technical services.

Before Nordic Greg was a senior account executive at maxIT/Leidos for six years. Prior to that, he worked at CareFusion selling medical devices to hospitals for six years. He began his healthcare career with CPSI with over seven years as an implementation manager.

Greg is originally from Rochester, N.Y., but has been a long time resident of Alabama since graduating from University of Montevallo in 1989. He lives in Birmingham with his wife Becky and their two daughters, Claire and Alice.

Brooke joined Nordic in May of 2017 as a practice director. Prior to her time at Nordic, she spent two years working for Dean Health Plan in process and performance improvement. At Dean, she improved prior authorization processes from the clinics and hospitals to the health plan and helped position the clinics and hospitals to shift to a value-based reimbursement model.

Brooke began her career in health IT at Epic where she worked for over six years. While at Epic, she started on the Claims implementation team and went on to become an implementation director and a team lead. Brooke worked with the implementation services team on implementation tool creation and helped with international install planning. In addition, she helped organizations plan their Connect projects with a focus on larger hospitals and practices.

A native of Greensboro, N.C., Brooke graduated from the University of North Carolina with a bachelor’s degree in economics. She holds Epic certifications in Resolute HB, Resolute PB, HB Claims, PB Claims, Cadence/Prelude, ADT, and MyChart.

As the implementation strategy director, Lindsey helps advise Nordic clients on their implementation from a leadership perspective. She focuses on tools and processes that are complementary to Epic’s methodology and supports customers from pre-implementation planning and staffing through go-live.

Prior to joining Nordic, Lindsey oversaw projects in the sales division at American Family Insurance. There she helped implement a new standard measure for sales production across all of its operating states and the corporate office. Lindsey began her career in healthcare IT with Epic, where she worked from 2008-2015. While at Epic, she supervised both enterprise and add-on installs as the implementation director and executive for several customers. Lindsey is originally from Indiana and graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2008 with a degree in biology.

Peter joined Nordic’s home office as an Account Director in June 2017 after working as a Nordic consultant since the previous year. Prior to joining Nordic, Peter held roles as director of technical sales and as manager over the customer success team at Pharmacy OneSource (Wolters Kluwer Health), where he oversaw efforts to help healthcare organizations with pharmacy surveillance and infection prevention and reporting.

Peter started his career at Epic on the implementation team, first as an Orders application coordinator and then as an implementation director. He led teams through a variety of Epic implementations including big bang system-wide installs, physician order management transitions, and application add-on projects. Peter also worked internally at Epic to develop standard key performance indicators and improve implementation process tools.

Peter graduated with a bachelor’s in mathematics and economics from Luther College and received his MBA from the Wisconsin School of Business at UW-Madison, specializing in Operations and Technology Management. He lives with his family in Madison and enjoys cycling, triathlons, and working on the family farm.

Lauren joined the Nordic home office in August 2017 as the director of Affiliate Solutions. She has over eight years of Epic experience and has worked on multiple Community Connect and M&A projects. Most recently before joining the home office, Lauren was a project manager with Nordic on a major Connect project for a university hospital system.

Lauren holds Epic certifications in EpicCare Ambulatory, Clin Doc, Orders, and Bridges.

Originally from the Chicagoland area, Lauren currently resides in Chicago. She graduated from the University of Illinois with a degree in community health with a concentration in health planning and administration and a minor in communication.

Eric is Nordic's director of Data & Analytics. Eric joined Nordic’s Data & Analytics team in August 2017 in the role of services delivery manager, helping with the development and execution of Nordic’s analytics solutions. Prior to Nordic, he worked for over two years at Qlik where he led the Healthcare Solutions and Strategy practice and oversaw strategic partnerships in healthcare.

Eric has four years of experience working for Epic. There he began in Hospital Billing implementation. He got his start in data when he assumed ownership of the extract framework, then became one of the first members of the Cogito team. Eric designed and managed the implementation and integration strategy for Epic’s Cogito Data Warehouse and was also a member of the Healthy Planet leadership team.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Boston University. He has been a guest lecturer at BU’s School of Public Health. Eric lives in Madison, and in his free time, he enjoys music, mountaineering, and mathematics.

Phil joined Nordic in March of 2017 as a director of business development for the central region, bringing with him 11 years of healthcare revenue cycle experience. Prior to Nordic, Phil worked for Apex Revenue Technologies as well as the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.

Phil graduated from the University of St. Thomas in Minnesota with a bachelor’s degree in communication studies. He makes his home in Madison, Wisconsin with his wife Sara and their two boys, Hunter and Dylan. He’s an avid fly-fisher and practices Brazilian ju-jitsu.

Andrea joined Nordic in 2016, bringing with her 15 years of experience in healthcare IT. She has seen the industry from all angles: as a vendor, a consultant, and as part of a healthcare delivery system. Andrea spent nearly nine years at Epic where she held multiple implementation executive roles leading some of Epic’s largest enterprise implementations. For the last two years of her tenure at Epic, Andrea worked at the Epic Europe office in the Netherlands where she led the first multi-hospital implementation of the Dutch enterprise record. Prior to joining Nordic, Andrea worked with physician informaticists at Kaiser Permanente NW and as the Director of Operations for Providence Health & Services’ Community Connect program, one of the largest in the country. She holds bachelor’s degrees in biology and German from Earlham College and an MBA in operations management from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Amanda Smith joined Nordic in 2014 after consulting for almost two years as a project manager. Prior to consulting, Amanda spent over four years at Epic as an implementation coordinator and project manager implementing Epic’s Health Information Management (HIM) applications. She also worked on Epic’s Foundation System team as a lead application manager, mentored new Epic application coordinators as a supporting application manager, and directed the HIM and Identity Forum in 2010. Amanda has a B.S in Mathematics and Art from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Christie-Lee Wallace has more than 10 years of project management experience, including over seven years at Epic. Christie-Lee is certified in PMP® and ITIL®. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.

Senior Candidate Relations Manager

Jana joined the candidate relations team at Nordic in May 2015 and moved into the role of senior candidate relations manager in August 2018. Jana supports Nordic’s strategic engagements by managing the relationships with Nordic’s leadership practice candidates, staffing for a variety of project management, program management, director, and interim C-suite level roles. Jana’s role leverages her passion for candidate experience and creative strategy and has allowed her the opportunity to develop lasting relationships with the most talented healthcare IT professionals.
 
Jana graduated from Columbia College Chicago with a bachelor's degree in arts management. Prior to joining Nordic, Jana worked many years for both for-profit and non-profit arts organizations in the Chicago area, in addition to five years as the customer service manager for a cycling vacations company, Trek Travel.

Stacy joined Nordic in February 2018 as a candidate relations manager and moved into her current role as senior candidate relations manager in February 2019. She enjoys building relationships with Revenue Cycle candidates and working with teams across Nordic to find strategic and creative solutions to their staffing needs. Prior to joining Nordic, Stacy was a member of the sales team in the Vonlay practice at Huron Consulting Group.

Before making the jump into the health IT world, Stacy's passion for working with people was established during her many years as a professional educator. She was an instrumental music teacher before moving into roles as a director of library media, instructional technology, and innovative learning programs. She has continued to work in the education space in advisory and consulting roles for the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction, the University of Wisconsin and other colleges and universities, and K-12 school districts.

Stacy graduated from UW-Madison with a master's degree in educational leadership and policy analysis, from UW-Eau Claire with a master's degree in professional development, and from UW-Superior with a bachelor's degree in instrumental music education. Outside of work, Stacy is active in organizations that benefit kids and animals, including greyhound adoption groups.

Kellyn joined Nordic in December 2016 and manages a practice of consultants specializing in Beacon, Willow, Beaker, Home Health/Hospice, or Health Planet applications. She began her career at Epic, where she worked for over three years. While at Epic, Kellyn was a member of the Beacon Oncology Implementation team and worked on several projects including the University of Utah inpatient and ancillary add-on, UCLA upgrade, Lahey Health big bang install, and the Foundation System NCCN protocol build.

Kellyn left Epic in 2015 to embark on a seven-month international journey, visiting 24 countries around the globe. Upon her return to the states, she worked for a Madison health IT startup, Gamefi, supporting Quality Assurance/testing initiatives and product development before joining Nordic.

A native of Washington, Pa., Kellyn graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a bachelor’s degree in health information management. She is a Registered Health Information Administrator. In her free time, in addition to traveling, she enjoys experimenting with new recipes, watching movies, and spending time with her fiancé, Chris, and her dog, Weston.

Sarah joined Nordic in October 2018 as a candidate relations manager, focusing on finding and building relationships with candidates for consulting roles in the Tech, Data & Analytics, and Training practices. Prior to joining Nordic, Sarah worked as a senior technical recruiter for TeamSoft, an IT staffing firm. There she sought out qualified candidates to fill contract and direct hire opportunities in the IT industry.

Candidate Relations Manager

Rhian joined Nordic in August 2018 as a candidate relations manager. In this role, she learns about the strengths, experiences, and preferences of consultants in the Clinical Ancillary practice, specifically with Willow and Beaker, in order to connect them with meaningful opportunities here at Nordic. Prior to joining the team, she worked for over three years in career services at Indiana University where her focus was on recruiting, employer relations, and advising. During this time, she coached and taught hundreds of students to help them realize their full potential, created a corporate partnership program for the career office to increase revenue, and coordinated all aspects of on-campus recruiting. 
 
Before starting in career services, Rhian's career began in the arts. She holds a degree in arts management from Indiana University. She worked as a board member at a local dance studio and as an administrator at the renowned IU Jacobs School of Music.
 
Originally from England, Rhian has found her new home in Madison with her husband, Derek. In her spare time, you can find her immersing herself in the arts, exploring the outdoors, or traveling the world.

As a service delivery manager, Alex oversees the support of Nordic clients and ensures the successful delivery of Nordic’s Managed Services. Before moving into his current role in April 2019, he was a Nordic senior consultant for nearly four years.

Alex began his career in health IT at Epic, where he worked for three years. While at Epic, he was a Implementation Services project manager. He is certified in Grand Central, Prelude, Cadence, Referrals, Welcome, Hospital Billing, and Real-Time Eligibility. Prior to joining Nordic, Alex was a project manager at Array Health, a startup working with health insurance companies, where he was responsible for developing a standardized implementation methodology.

Alex graduated from the University of Washington with a bachelor’s degree in foreign diplomacy and security studies. He is a class of 2021 MBA candidate at the University of Washington’s Foster School of Business. In his free time, Alex is a competitive rower and also enjoys playing beach volleyball and skiing.

Kate joined Nordic in May 2013 and held roles with both the finance and candidate relations teams before taking on her current role as a practice manager in October 2018. As practice manager for the training team, she partners with Nordic’s consultants to understand their preferences and professional goals in order to align them with consulting opportunities that reflect their unique experiences. 

Prior to working at Nordic, Kate practiced massage therapy for 10 years. Outside of work, Kate enjoys traveling, Wisconsin basketball, reading, eating tacos, and spending time with her two children.

Tiffany Kim

Service Delivery Manager - Managed Services

As a service delivery manager for the Managed Services division, Tiffany oversees and monitors the quality of support for the organizations Nordic serves in the Pacific Northwest region. She joined Nordic as a Managed Services senior consultant on the Orders team in January 2017 before moving into her current role in late 2018.

Prior to Nordic, Tiffany spent three years at Epic where she implemented Orders for academic and pediatric hospitals. She also served as an implementation advisor for Clinical Decision Support and IP procedural documentation/charging workflows, documenting and sharing best practices with other implementers as well as engaging with development teams to report customer feedback. Following her time at Epic, Tiffany worked as a project manager and reporting lead for for National Decision Support Company. There she was heavily involved with process improvement and worked with development to create tools to implement new features for its healthcare platform.

Tiffany has both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in bioengineering from Rice University and earned her PMP certification in 2017. She is Epic certified in Inpatient ClinDoc, Inpatient Orders, and Inpatient Order Transmittal. She lives in Seattle with her husband. The two of them enjoy traveling internationally while living out of a single backpack each.

Kathleen joined Nordic in June 2017 and manages consultants in the Data & Analytics and technical practices. During her time at Nordic, she has managed consultants within other practices including training, Radiant, and Cupid. She spent five years at Epic as an EpicCare Ambulatory trainer and holds an EpicCare Ambulatory certificate.
 
Prior to joining Nordic, Kathleen spent a year at Vitalize (now a part of Leidos) as an Ambulatory specialist and Community Connect analyst for their ambulatory clinics and also mentored their project team. She was with Vonlay (now a part of Huron Consulting Group) for three and a half years working in a variety of roles.
 
Kathleen graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a bachelor's degree in business administration with a specialization in management and supervision. 
 
When she’s not working, Kathleen enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, son, and black lab. Together they hike, backpack, bike, garden, and take care of their chickens.

Jamie Sue Knight manages the HIM and training practices and is certified in all major revenue and access applications. Prior to joining the home office, she was a Nordic consultant at UnityPoint Health in Des Moines where she worked as a Cadence, Prelude, and ADT Instructional Designer then at Montefiore Health System in New York as a professional billing analyst. Jamie Sue worked at Epic for three years as a PB trainer. After leaving Epic, she coordinated a CRM rollout for financial advisors at credit unions across the country.

A native of Hartland, Wis., Jamie Sue holds a bachelor’s of arts in music education from Luther College and a master’s of arts in education/administration from the University of Phoenix.

John has over 10 years of experience leading HIT initiatives. He joined Nordic as a senior consultant in 2017, leading cutover across multiple hospitals and clinics for more than 200 applications before moving into his current role.

John began his career at Epic, leading inpatient implementations, developing training programs, and supporting sales. He holds 10 Epic certifications including Ambulatory, Inpatient, HIM/Identity, and ancillary applications. Before joining Nordic, John worked for over four years at Zynx Health, where he directed implementation, informatics, and integration teams; chaired product governance and innovation labs; coached Agile practices; and led evidence-based practice improvement initiatives with over 75 organizations.

John holds degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Katie has over a decade of healthcare experience ranging from nursing to nutrition to EHR implementation. As a service delivery manager, she oversees Nordic’s support of Managed Services clients. Katie joined Nordic in 2017 as a senior consultant, working as an Epic program manager.

She began her career as an outpatient nurse in internal medicine and pediatrics and as a dietitian in a rehab facility. Katie joined Epic in 2010 and focused on large, multi-hospital implementations as both a project manager and a clinical lead. After her time at Epic, she worked as an implementation team manager at National Decision Support Company, implementing clinical guidelines for imaging studies and the National Choosing Wisely campaign. 

Katie earned a bachelor’s degree in nutrition and dietetics with an emphasis on food science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She holds Epic certifications in EpicCare Ambulatory, EpicCare Inpatient, and Order Transmittal and also a Level 3 certification in wine and spirits from the Wine & Spirits Education Trust in London. In her free time, Katie enjoys all outdoor activities as well as studying winemaking.

Munaf Noorani

Manager of Strategic Solutions, Optimization

As manager of Optimization Solutions, Munaf is responsible for the development and delivery of Nordic’s optimization offerings. Munaf has over six years of experience ranging from EHR development and implementation to data analysis and regulatory compliance work. Prior to joining Nordic, he worked as an analytics consultant for Accenture and an Epic consultant for BlueTree Network. Munaf began his career in health IT working for Epic where he implemented and developed OpTime and assisted the sales team with international sales. He is certified in OpTime, Anesthesia, and Server Tech.

Following his time at Epic, Munaf worked at a big four consulting firm in advanced analytics with financial institutions. He has held leadership positions on projects at financial institutions to assist in the use of data analytics to meet audit, compliance, and financial crimes detection guidelines and has also led development teams to implement new processes and platforms. Munaf is an expert in multiple technological stacks with diverse experience in utilizing technology and analytics in multiple industries.

Munaf earned a master’s degree in data science, specializing in predictive analytics from Northwestern University and holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Emory University. Currently based in San Diego, Munaf is an avid Atlanta sports fan and enjoys basketball, golf, and traveling.

Siobhán Reynolds

Practice Manager (Access, Tapestry, Security)

Siobhán manages Nordic’s practice of consultants specializing in Access, Tapestry, and Security applications. She has over a decade of healthcare IT experience, including four years at Epic implementing Cadence at large hospital groups, over a year implementing pharmacy surveillance interfaces, and four years consulting at various healthcare organizations. On her final consulting contract, Siobhán stepped in as the interim director of patient access for a critical access hospital in the midst of an Epic implementation. There she helped convert operations from a less efficient decentralized scheduling model to an integrated, centralized prior authorization and scheduling department.

She is Epic certified in Cadence and Tapestry and holds degrees in secondary education and geology and a minor in Spanish from UW-Oshkosh. Find her on LinkedIn.

Jim has over 10 years of experience in healthcare IT with roles ranging from training to ITS management to account management. He joined Nordic in 2016, serving as an account director for the client partnerships team before moving to Managed Services. Prior to joining Nordic, Jim spent approximately four years as an account director for Epic clients.

He began his healthcare career at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics. There Jim earned certifications in four Epic applications and led the physician training initiatives for the hospital-wide Epic rollout. Post go-live, he transitioned to a supervisory role within the ITS department, overseeing the ambulatory production support team.

Jim holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Northern Iowa in earth science and a master’s in atmospheric and oceanic sciences from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.

Chad joined the Managed Services team in early 2018 after seven years as a senior consultant with Nordic. In his time with Nordic he has worked on a variety of OpTime and Resolute Hospital Billing projects, assisting customers with implementations, optimizations, roll-outs, and upgrades.

Chad began his career in healthcare at Epic, where he worked in quality assurance, implementation services, and sales for over 3 years. He is certified in Orders, OpTime, and Resolute Hospital Billing. Following his time at Epic, Chad was a business analyst and project manager for Perceptive Software. There he focused on developing and refining a healthcare-specific implementation methodology.

Chad holds a bachelor’s degree in applied sciences from Maranatha Baptist University in Watertown, Wisconsin.

Jackie has served as manager of Strategic Solutions since July 2019. She is responsible for the development and delivery of Nordic's Optimization Solutions. Jackie joined Nordic in April 2018 as a practice manager, overseeing the success and career growth of Nordic’s consultants and candidates. Prior to Nordic, Jackie spent 2 years at Epic on the PB implementation services team. While working for Target Corporation, she coached IT product teams in their adaptation of agile methodologies.
 
A graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College in Saint Peter, Minnesota, she holds Epic certifications in Professional Billing with Single Billing Office, Charge Router, and Reporting, as well as CAPM certification through PMI.
 
In her spare time, Jackie enjoys composing music and plays several musical instruments, most notably she has played the flute for 15 years.

Erin joined Nordic in February 2016 as a consultant in Nordic’s leadership practice. During her two and a half years as a consultant, she managed an affiliate implementation and rollout, an organization-wide clinical workflow optimization project, a Healthy Planet implementation, and an Identity Management vendor selection project. She also served as a MyChart advisor to help an organization develop a MyChart governance structure.
 
Erin joined the home office in June 2018 as the practice manager for Willow and Beaker. As a practice manager, Erin builds relationships with candidates and consultants to ensure client needs are met or exceeded. She also makes sure that consultants are given opportunities to grow their skill sets toward their chosen career paths.
 
Prior to Nordic, Erin worked for three years at Group Health Cooperative of Wisconsin as both  project manager and revenue capture manager. She managed the medical billing and medical coding teams while collaborating with departments throughout the organization to identify workflow improvements without negatively impacting patient care.
 
Erin spent five years at Epic managing Ambulatory implementations on several enterprise installs. She was also the clinical lead on Epic’s internal implementation strategy team for Community Connect.
 
Erin holds certifications in Ambulatory, ASAP, Radiant, Prelude, Benefits Engine, Bridges, HOD, Stork, Nurse Triage, MyChart, and Beacon. In her spare time, Erin loves spending time with her husband, daughter, and two dogs. She enjoys yoga, triathlons, and any activity that involves being on or near water.

Service Delivery Manager - Data & Analytics

Joey is a service delivery manager for Nordic's Data & Analytics clients. He previous served as a Nordic practice director. As an Epic employee, he provided technical support as a member of the Radiant technical services team. Prior to joining the home office, Joey worked with Aurora Health Care, Fairview Health Services, and Thedacare in a variety of roles.

He is Epic certified in Radiant, OpTime, Cadence, and the Inpatient application suite. Joey graduated from UW-Madison in 2006 and is currently working toward an MBA.
