Nordic moves to new headquarters in downtown Madison

MADISON, WI – Fueled by three consecutive years of growth exceeding 100%, Nordic Consulting moved to a larger downtown location to accommodate more staff and new lines of business. The Madison-based healthcare IT consulting firm is now located at 740 Regent Street, Suites 300 and 400.

“We’re very pleased to stay in downtown Madison in a space that can accommodate our rapid growth,” said Mark Bakken, CEO. "Having our entire company under one roof again helps us achieve our mission to leverage technology, experience, and best practices to lower the cost and increase the quality of healthcare delivery"

President Drew Madden added, "This location will greatly increase our ability to extend new lines of business to our customers. Our newly designed Remote Solutions Center has space for over 25 consultants to provide Nordic-quality services to our clients at a significant discount over normal consulting rates. It also allows us to offer more cost-effective options to clients interested in our Optimization, Affiliate, and Implementation Solution practices.”

On February 15, Nordic consolidated three separate locations into the new office. They originally moved into their home base at 551 W. Main Street in December 2010. At that time, Nordic had four home office employees and 13 consultants. Today, Nordic employs more than 400 people nationally, with approximately 150 based in Dane County. 60 staff members are based in the home office, while 350 consultants work with 90 healthcare organizations in 37 states.

Nordic hired Potter Lawson for design and architecture and Ideal Builders as the general contractor to redesign the 18,000 square foot space over 7 months. The interior was completely remodeled to create a setting that reflects Nordic’s culture of transparency and openness. Contractors removed several interior walls and included glass and lighter wood finishes to create a space that’s filled with light. The north side of the building overlooks the Kohl Center and the State Capitol.

Nordic Consulting, founded in January 2010, focuses exclusively on Epic software implementations, upgrades, support and optimization. For more information, visit www.nordicwi.com or call 608-268-6900.
